Realme 9 is the only second 4G smartphone in the 9 series. The base variant is finally available in Nepal after almost two months of initial announcement.

Design and Display
The smartphone brings new Ripple Holographic design while it features plasma atom-coating and UV-Nano imprinting. It is 7.99mm thick and weighs 178 grams. The phone is available in three color options: Meteor Black, Sunburst Gold and Stargaze White.
In addition, the phone has 6.6-inch 90Hz Super AMOLED panel with FHD resolution. Realme 9 4G has 1000 nits of peak brightness and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has 10240-level of touch sampling rate, with the highest value being 360Hz.
Camera
It is the first ever phone with Samsung’s 108MP ISOCELL HM6 sensor. This sensor uses a 9-in-1 pixel binning to crunch out 12MP photos by default. The company has even claimed that it can take in 123% more light, resulting in brighter pictures with less noise. Furthermore, it has an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor with 13MP camera sensor on the front.
Performance and Memory
The phone has new Snapdragon 680 4G chipset. This processor shines brightest in power efficiency as it’s built on top of a 6nm process. However, it leaves much to be desired in terms of raw performance. Realme 9 has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In addition, there is an 8GB variant with the same internal storage.
Extra Details
Realme 9 consists of 5,000mAh battery that is supported by 33W fast charging. The phone features an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometrics as well.
Availability and Price in Nepal
Interested individuals can purchase it from authorized e-commerce stores like Hukut. Initially announced at Rs. 31,499, the base 6/128GB variant of Realme 9 now retails for Rs. 31,999. However, the price of the 8/128GB variant has remained constant at NPR 33,499.
