Dongfeng has expanded its Nepali lineup with the launch of the Nammi Vigo, a compact electric SUV brought to the market by MAW Vriddhi Motors, the official distributor for Dongfeng vehicles in Nepal. The Nammi Vigo was launched at the 2025 NADA Auto Show, and internationally it is also known as the Nammi 06. It is positioned as the larger, more premium sibling to the well-received Nammi 01, bringing sharper design language, stronger performance credentials and better feature integration.
Overall Design
The Nammi Vigo is built on Dongfeng’s Quantum Architecture Platform, a dedicated EV platform engineered specifically for small electric vehicles. The vehicle uses a “Rubik’s Cube” design concept, combining geometric shapes and modern styling elements to give it a distinct identity compared to other EV hatchbacks and crossovers in the Nepali market. It features a futuristic design language with distinctive LED daytime running lights and hidden door handles, appealing to modern urban drivers who want both style and efficiency.
Exterior
The Nammi Vigo measures 4,306 mm in length, 1,868 mm in width and 1,645 mm in height, giving it compact-SUV proportions suited to city driving. It comes with a front-wheel-drive (FWD) drivetrain. The E2 variant rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, while the E2+ gets a slightly upgraded exterior package alongside its additional features.

Both variants use a 51.87 kWh LFP battery pack, delivering a WLTP range of around 350 km, and are powered by a 99 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor. Depending on the testing cycle, the Nammi Vigo can travel between roughly 401 km and 471 km on a full charge.
Both variants support DC fast charging at up to 167 kW, with liquid cooling for improved battery performance, allowing a charge from 20 to 80 percent in well under half an hour on a suitable charger.

Top-spec variants additionally include Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, featuring Adaptive Cruise Control.
The Nammi Vigo also comes with an 8-year (or 1,60,000 km) battery and motor warranty.
