Suzuki V-Strom SX Adventure Motorcycle to be Launched in Nepal

Suzuki is all set to launch its much-awaited adventure bike the V-Strom 250 SX in Nepal. The authorized distributor of Suzuki bikes in Nepal, Vishal Group, is planning to bring V-Strom 250 SX to the Nepalese market by September 2022.

Suzuki V-Strom SX ADV is powered by a 249 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled single overhead cam (SOHC), and four-valve engine. It is an entry-level adventure sport motorcycle built on the Suzuki Gixxer 250 platform that shares its design and features with the bigger Suzuki V-Strom models. It is capable of taking on the daily commute, highway riding, and exploring mild off-road trails.

It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine produces 26.5HP of maximum power at 9300 rpm and 22.2Nm of peak torque at 7300 rpm. Braking duties are covered by discs at both ends with dual-channel ABS. The V-Strom is suspended on a telescopic fork up front and a monoshock at the rear. It has ground clearance of 205 mm and kerb weight of 167 kg. Fuel tank capacity remains the same as the Gixxer 250 at 12 liters.

Suzuki V-Storm SX comes with unique features like a USB charging port, Suzuki Easy Start System, full-LED lighting system, a LED headlight, halogen indicators, and a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster that connects with the rider’s smartphone and offers information like turn-by-turn navigation, alerts on incoming messages, calls, and WhatsApp, speed exceeding warnings, phone battery level and many more.

It also includes a fully digital instrument cluster, decent-sized windscreen, sporty rearview mirrors, sculpted fuel tank, and split seats. There are three different color options: Yellow, Orange, and Black.

Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 will rival against KTM 250 Adventure, Benelli TRK 251, Yezdi Adventure, and the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The Suzuki V-Strom SX price in Nepal is expected to be around NRs. 8.00 Lakhs.
