Benelli is set to launch the BS6 compliant version of the Imperiale 400 in Nepal. The BS6 iteration of the bike was launched in July last year and is finally making its debut in the Nepalese market in the coming months. .
Imperiale 400 is said to be first showcased in Nepal at the 2022 NADA Auto Show. It is a modern-classic cruiser motorcycle which will be the brand’s first BS6-compliant in Nepal.
Benelli Imperiale 400 is powered by a 374cc BS6 engine that generates a maximum power of 20.7 bhp and a torque of 29 Nm. The engine comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. The performance numbers are higher than the previous BS4 model.
It comes with disc brakes at either end and dual-channel ABS. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and dual shock absorbers at the rear. It comes with a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels. The Imperiale 400 comes with a round headlamp with a chrome casing flanked by round, chrome-finished turn indicators.
It also features more chrome on the tail lamp, mirrors, levers, and spoke wheels. It has a twin-pod instrument cluster with chrome bezels that give it a retro look. Its twin-pod analog-digital instrument console gets a neat digital fuel gauge positioned smack in between the two consoles. The console also features a gear position indicator.
There are three color options available i.e. black, red, and silver. The price of Benelli Imperiale 400 in Nepal is expected to be around NRs.8 Lakhs to NRs.10 Lakhs. The motorcycle comes with a 3 years/unlimited km warranty as standard.
