Fully digital 12.3″ cluster

The fully digital 12.3” instrument cluster displays driver centric information, it has a day and night mode as well as a different colour scheme linked to the drive mode selected.

Apple CarPlay™ and Android™ Auto smartphone mirroring

The 12.3” infotainment touchscreen gives you access to a comprehensive menu from connectivity to preference settings. This is supplemented with new generation voice activation control for most common requests such as heated seats and steering wheel settings.

Eco-friendly fabric

The magnetic fabric pads, headliner, floor carpet, and floor mats are made with eco-friendly textiles manufactured with sugarcane extract. The seats and door trim are covered with material woven from fibers made out of recyclable transparent PET bottles

Eco-processed leather

The leather used for the seats was processed in an eco-friendly manner through the use of flaxseed oil extract.

Bio paint

The dashboard, switches, steering wheel and door panelsare coated in a special Bio paint made with rapeseed flowers and corn extracts.

Eco-friendly lifestyle without limits

Environmentally friendly materials are used extensively in the IONIQ 5, like eco-processed leather and recycled yarn. What’s more, raw materials extracted from sugar cane are used on the headliner, carpet and seat covers. A solution that is both recyclable and beautiful. The innovative use of natural materials is another contribution to sustainability in our manufacturing processes, making the IONIQ 5 less reliant on oil-based products.

Sliding centre console

Customise the interior layout to your needs. You can slide the centre console back to the rear seats, so your kids can use it as a picnic table or desk.

Wireless charging & USB ports

There’s a high-speed wireless charger port in the moveable centre console the Universal Island – that can slide back as much as 140 mm, which means second-row passengers can also enjoy access to the cup holders, USB ports and phone charger. The 15-watt unit features a cooling function that prevents smartphone overheating for added safety.

Wide-screen digital cockpit

The 12.3” infotainment screen is seamlessly integrated with the 12.3” cluster for a high-tech look that comes standard – for easy access to all driving, safety and infotainment functions.

Charge from inside

IONIQ 5 can make your life easier. It can charge any electric devices such as electric bicycle, scooter, camping equipment, or even a stranded EV. The charging feature is enabled by an adaptor and it connects to the charging outlet. There is a second outlet underneath the back row seat for charging laptops, phones, and other devices.

PERFOEMANCE

Battery and range

Pick your power and preferred range. The IONIQ 5 is available with two variant:( Vision Roof and Sun Roof powered by 58 kWh (Standard Range). The 58 kWh battery provides 125 kW in a 2WD power train

Regenerative braking

Equipped with cutting-edge technology for intelligent driving, the IONIQ 5’s regenerative braking system charges the battery while driving by using the electric motor to slow the vehicle. You can control the level of energy that the system regenerates and stores in the battery by adjusting the level of regenerative braking with the steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. The higher the level, the more the car slows and charges the battery when you take your foot off the accelerator.

Holding the left paddle shifter activates maximum strength of regenerative braking and you can slow the car to a complete stop in this way without having to press the conventional brake pedal.

Home charging / AC charging

Depending on your grid connection at home or the type of charging station you have access to, the IONIQ 5 gives you a range of flexible charging possibilities aside from ultra-fast DC charging. You can charge at home overnight to take advantage of off-peak rates or top up at the grocery store when you’re shopping – the powerful 11 kW on-board charger gives you a range of flexible possibilities.

Solar roof

Select IONIQ 5 models have a solar panel roof that uses sunlight to partially charge the vehicle’s battery. The solar roof prevents 12V batteries from dying and charges the high-voltage battery to extend the driving range.

Vision roof

Eliminating the center member creates a greater sense of openness inside the cabin. Power roller blinds further enhance the vision roof’s appeal and versatility.
