Maruti Suzuki has officially launched the extensively upgraded model, 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
The authorized distributor of Suzuki vehicles in Nepal, CG Motors, is set to launch the 2022 version of Baleno in the Nepalese market. The pre-bookings for the Maruti Suzuki Baleno in Nepal will open soon and the cars will be available across Maruti showrooms.
The new 2022 Baleno has major changes design and safety. It comes with a new bumper along with a wider and slimmer grille, angular LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs and a signature Projector Headlamp.
Furthermore, it is powered by two 1.2-liter petrol engines – one producing 83hp and another producing 90hp with 12V mild-hybrid technology. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard while a five-speed AMT unit is optional. In addition, the new motor comes with the brand’s mild-hybrid technology that helps improve fuel efficiency and lower emissions on the hatchback. The company claims a fuel-efficiency figure of 22.35 km/l in the manual guise and 22.94 km/l in the AMT unit.
The new car features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with an in-built navigation system. It also comes with Alexa assistance, a head-up display, a new sound system with ARKAMYS tuning, and a 360-view camera view among others. In the safety feature, there are 6 airbags, electronic stability control, hill-hold assist, rear parking sensors and ABS with EBD.
Suzuki Baleno has 6 color options viz. Nexa Blue, Opulent Red, Luxe Beige, Arctic White, Splendid Silver and Grandeur Grey. Maruti is offering the new Baleno in two trims i.e the base Sigma variant and the top-end Alpha automatic trim.
Rivalry and Prices
The new Maruti Suzuki Baleno is to rival against Honda Jazz, Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz and Volkswagen Polo. The new 2022 Suzuki Baleno is expected to cost around NRs. 40 – 50 lakhs.
