
BMW Motorrad had teased its first-ever entry-level supersport the G 310 RR earlier this month. Along with this, BMW has confirmed to launch a fully-faired motorcycle BMW G 310 RR in Nepal.
BMW G310 RR is expected to launch in Nepal by December 2022 according to various reports. The new BMW G 310 RR appears very similar to TVS Apache RR 310. They have same exhaust, lower fairing, wheels and even tires.
Booking for the upcoming BMW G 310 RR is also already on across the Asian market.
BMW 310 RR is equipped with 312cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder and 4 valve engine that is co-developed with TVS. It can generate max power of 34 PS @9700 RPM and 27.3 Nm @7700 RPM.
The engine will also come mated to a 6-speed gearbox that gets a slipper clutch. Furthermore, It is said to have 4 riding modes that alter the power, torque, throttle map, throttle response and traction. In Sport mode and Track mode, this engine can generate a max power of 34 PS @9700 RPM and 27.3 Nm @7700 RPM. In Urban mode and Rain mode, this engine can generate a max power of 25.8 PS and 25 Nm.
It has features including all-digital instrument cluster with phone connectivity, bluetooth connectivity, ride-by-wire throttle, ABS, riding modes and more. It also has LED tail-lights, LED headlights and LED indicators.
BMW G 310 RR also has dual-channel ABS as standard. It also provides options for customizations in terms of an adjustable front USD suspension and sportier clip-on handlebars.
Since TVS and BMW have jointly developed this platform and engine, the motorcycles are assumed to be identical.
Price in Nepal
The BMW G 310 RR price in Nepal is expected to be around NRs.12 lakh to NRs. 15 lakhs. After its launch in Nepal, it will compete with Kawasaki Ninja 300 and KTM RC 390.
