Apple had announced the new M1 Ultra-powered Mac Studio and the Studio Display to go with it back in March 2022. This Apple’s latest display has entered the Nepali market.

Design and Display

Apple’s Studio Display is build of aluminum and slim form factor while it has a tilt-adjustable stand. A height-adjustable stand can be bought separately as well. Also, there is option for a VESA mount which supports landscape and portrait modes for flexibility.

Apple used a 27” Retina display with a 5K resolution of 5120 x 2880 pixels in the monitor that gives a pixel density of 218 PPI. It has 600 nits of brightness, Wide P3 color and Apple’s True Tone technology.

Camera, Audio and Processor

The monitor has a 12MP ultrawide camera with Center Stage under the hood. The display can keep subjects in frames during video calls even when the subject is not still. The Studio Display packs the Apple A13 Bionic chip to power its audio and camera system.

It features a six-speaker sound system and a three-microphone array. It consists of four force-canceling woofers for bass and reducing distortion with two tweeters for mids and highs. The monitor has Dolby Atmos for spatial audio effects for music and video.

Connectivity

Apple Studio Display has 3 USB-C ports with speeds of up to 10Gb/s and thunderbolt port to connect it to a Mac. Thunderbolt port can also be used to fast charge MacBooks. Similarly, MacBook Pro can connect to 3 Studio Displays at ones. Apple has even announced a new silver-and-black Magic Keyboard, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Mouse but they are to be bought separately.

Interested Individuals can buy Apple Studio Display in Nepal from authorized stores like Hukut. The price for the monitor in Nepal with standard glass and a tilt-adjustable stand is Rs. 267,500, while the upgrade to nano-texture glass costs and addition of Rs. 50,000.

Meanwhile, the standard glass variant with tilt-height adjustable stand is set for NARs. 334,500.
