TVS Ronin 225 Cruiser Motorbike Launched Officially

TVS officially launched the new Ronin 225 cruiser motorbike. TVS has introduced the stylish motorbike in three variants i.e single tone, dual-tone and triple tone.

TVS Ronin 225 is expected to launch in Nepal in August and bookings will open soon after. Ronin 225 is TVS’ first neo-retro-styled roadster. It has come with several retro-derived styling elements.

The new bike’s engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. It is powered by the new 225.9cc air and an oil-cooled engine that develops 20.1 bhp at 7,750 rpm and 19.93 Nm of peak torque at 3,750 rpm.

It comes with multi-spoke alloy wheels shod with dual-purpose tires. In addition, there is 300mm disc up front and 240 mm disc at the rear. ABS is standard though only the top variant gets the Dual Channel system. Ronin 225 is equipped with a gold-colored upside-down fork suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear.

The handsome look Ronin has is from Scrambler-styled design with elements of a cafe racer motorcycle. It has rounded fuel tank, side panels and single-piece flat seat while the black finish to the engine, exhaust, and wheels.

Similarly, the system offers several connected features when paired with a smartphone that displays incoming calls, SMS, email alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation. The rounded headlamp is all retro-inspired elements and the all-LED light is modern with a T-shaped DRL pattern. The Ronin gets all-LED lights and a digital speedometer which is equipped with a TVS’ SmartXonnect system.

TVS Ronin 225 has two riding modes, City and Wet. The ride modes can be changed via the switches on the handlebar and interestingly enough, there too is a voice assistant.

Prices and Rivalry

Ronin is believed to rival against Bajaj Avenger, Dominar 250 and the Royal Enfield 350 to an extent in the Nepalese market. The price in Nepal is expected around NRs. Five Lakhs.
