Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition Open for Bookings in Nepal

Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition is officially launching in Nepal. It comes with a darker theme, revamping the interior and exterior with a darker color.

Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Tata vehicles in Nepal, has opened bookings for the new variant of its highly-popular electric SUV. Tata Nepal has successfully established 8 DC Fast Chargers across the country, with many more in development.

The launch details are still under discussion. However, it is stated to arrive in Nepal within a few weeks.

Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition Overview

Design

The design on Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition remains largely unchanged. It sports a coupe-like design with a heavy focus on its aerodynamic shape. The overall exterior body gets a Satin Black beltline with a Satin Black humanity line.

It follows the IMPACT 2.0 design philosophy with its signature Tri-Arrow elements. Likewise, the alloy wheels daunt an all-new Stylish Charcoal Grey finish. And, the side profile boasts an exclusive dark emblem.

There are prominent Blue-EV accents spread everywhere. Furthermore, the front section has projector LED Headlamps with tri-arrow DRLs. It includes Piano black ORVMs with turn indicators, Shark Fin Antenna, and Roof Rails, among other exterior elements that help improve its exterior appeal. The rear LED lamps also get the signature tri-arrow styling.

Interior Design

Nexon EV continues with the tri-arrow styling. It feels more premium with its dark-themed interiors though. It is set up with Glossy Piano Black dashboard with dark-themed leatherette seats. There are tri-arrow perforations on the door trims as well.

The Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition will be available in only Black color.

Performance

It is powered by a 95kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM). It can generate max power of 129PS and a max torque of 245Nm. Nexon EV comes with a 30.2kWh High energy density Li-Ion battery, claiming a range is 312Km. It is saide to take an average of 8.5 hours to fully charge from a normal 15A outlet.

Tata Nexon EV comes with a 3.3kW onboard AC charger with support for Fast Charging  (0-80% in 60 minutes). There are dual driving modes i.e Drive Mode and Sports Mode.

Extra Details

The dimensions are 3993mm in length, 1811mm in width, and 1616mm in height in Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition. It gets a front Independent MacPherson Strut and a rear Twist Beam suspension setup. Moreover, the wheelbase sits at 2498mm and has a 205mm ground clearance.

Tata Nexon EV will compete against the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona EV. It will be available across two premium variants: XZ+ and XZ+ LUX.
