Display and Design
The screen is one of the main highlights of the new Vivobook 15X OLED 2023. As the name suggests, it comes with a gorgeous 15.6-inch OLED panel. The 10-bit display has excellent colors (100% DCI-P3) and contrast (1 million: 1, Display HDR True Black 600) and comes with a number of certifications including PANTONE Validation, and TUV Rheinland. But it is still a 60Hz FHD panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Moving on to the design, the Vivobook 15X OLED carries the tried and tested look with a metallic lid and plastic base. The 1.6 kg weight and minimal thickness (under 18mm) enable a compact, and lightweight machine. But despite that, its MIL-STD-810H certification ensures durability and longevity.
Battery and Connectivity
Fueling the Vivobook 15X is a 3-cell 50Wh Lithium Ion battery. Asus promises 0-60% in just 49 minutes with the provided 65W AC adapter.
Talking ports, Vivobook 15X OLED 2023 features 3 USB-Type As, a single Type-C, an HDMI port, and a headphone jack. Wireless connectivity includes dual-band WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.
Chipset and Memory
Under the hood, the Vivobook is powered by Zen 3-based 7000 Series Ryzen processors. It can be configured with either a Ryzen 5 or a Ryzen 7 CPU. But currently, only the latter has made its way to Nepal. The Ryzen 7 7730U is an octa-core processor with 16 threads capable of clocking up to 4.5 GHz. It also houses integrated Radeon graphics for graphical processing.
