To achieve this feat, Asus has carved the chassis and its internal layout from magnesium-aluminum alloy through the CNC process. The IR camera is infused directly into the lid, making it 30% thinner.

The lids go through a special water and electricity treatment, creating a unique texture. Asus says the Plasma ceramic lid manufactured this way has a higher level of toughness, protection against rust, improved thermal management, and a longer lifespan. It is also more eco-friendly since no organic compounds, heavy metals, and strong acids are involved.

Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED (2023) comes with an FHD IR camera enabling WFH professionals to connect to their colleagues remotely. Lumina OLED display

Also new to the Zenbook S 13 UX5304 is the new Lumina OLED display.
