Omoda has officially rolled out the E5 Pro, a refreshed and more feature-rich version of its popular electric crossover, aimed squarely at buyers who want premium technology and strong safety credentials without stepping into the luxury price bracket. Positioned as the flagship trim of the E5 lineup, the E5 Pro combines futuristic styling with a long list of comfort, safety, and connectivity upgrades that push it ahead of many rivals in its class.
Overall Design
The Omoda E5 Pro is built on a dedicated electric platform and is engineered to feel like a genuinely modern EV rather than a converted combustion model. Every design element, from its closed-off front fascia to its sculpted body lines, is intended to communicate efficiency and technological sophistication. The result is a compact SUV that looks distinctly different from Omoda’s petrol-powered siblings while retaining a strong, confident road presence.

Exterior
Omoda has built the E5 Pro around what it calls a “crystal-edge” design language, characterized by sharp creases and a clean, aerodynamic silhouette. The car rides on sporty 18-inch alloy wheels, and a shark-fin antenna on the roofline reinforces the clean, uncluttered aesthetic. An electric sunroof adds an extra layer of openness to the cabin, while buyers can choose between Mono Tone and Dual Tone paint schemes depending on how bold a look they want.
Front View

Up front, the E5 Pro wears sleek LED projector headlights paired with LED daytime running lights and Intelligent Speed Control (ISC) high-beam functionality that automatically adjusts beam intensity based on oncoming traffic. The nose is largely closed off, a signature EV design cue that improves aerodynamics while giving the car a distinctive, futuristic identity that sets it apart from combustion-engine models in the same segment.
Rear View

At the back, the E5 Pro’s standout feature is its “Phantom Wing” taillight design, a light signature intended to be instantly recognizable both during the day and after dark. The rear is finished with a spoiler, a rear window wiper, washer, and defogger, and the tailgate is fully electric for added convenience when loading cargo.
Interior and Technology
Step inside, and the E5 Pro’s cabin is dominated by a 15.6-inch dual-curved display that merges the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system into one seamless unit, backed by an 8.8-inch digital cluster for driver information. Sound comes courtesy of an 8-speaker Sony audio system, while a 50W wireless phone charger and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto keep occupants connected without cables. Ambient lighting with multiple color options adds a customizable mood to the cabin.

Comfort has clearly been a priority: the front seats get 6-way electric adjustment with 2-way lumbar support and memory function, along with a driver massage feature and all-round ventilation. Front dual-layer acoustic glass significantly cuts down on wind and road noise, and a PM 0.3 air filtration system keeps cabin air clean. Rounding out the lifestyle-focused feature set are a Camping Mode that optimizes climate and ambient settings for relaxing in the car, and a Pet Mode designed to keep the cabin comfortable for animals left inside for short periods.
Range
The E5 Pro is powered by a 50.7 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack, delivering a claimed WLTP range of 350 km on a full charge. In real-world conditions, factoring in hilly terrain, air-conditioning use, and traffic, owners can typically expect somewhere in the region of 273–298 km, which remains competitive for daily commuting and moderate intercity travel. Charging is handled through a CCS2 port, supporting both AC and DC input; a full AC charge from a 6.6 kW home charger takes around 8.5 hours, while DC fast charging at 110 kW can take the battery from 30% to 80% in roughly 25 minutes.
Ground Clearance

One of the E5 Pro’s most practical strengths is its 191 mm ground clearance, higher than several rivals in its class. This makes it noticeably better suited to uneven or poorly maintained roads, giving drivers added confidence on rougher routes without sacrificing the composed on-road manners expected of a modern crossover.
Chassis
The E5 Pro sends power to the front wheels via a 99 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 288 Nm of torque, paired with a single-speed automatic transmission. Suspension duties are handled by a MacPherson strut setup at the front and a multi-link independent arrangement at the rear, tuned to balance ride comfort with stable handling. Braking is courtesy of ventilated discs up front and solid discs at the rear, with electric power steering offering both tilt and telescopic adjustment for a comfortable driving position.a
Safety and Driver-Assistance Features

Safety is arguably where the E5 Pro makes its strongest case. The car carries a 5-Star Euro NCAP rating and comes loaded with more than 19 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features, classified at ADAS Level 2+. Key highlights include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Monitor and Collision Avoidance Assist, Forward Collision Warning with Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance, and Traffic Jam Assist. A 540-degree HD Surround View Camera system combines a 360-degree camera with a transparent chassis function, letting the driver effectively see beneath the car to avoid potholes and obstacles during tight maneuvers. The safety package is rounded out with ABS, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Tyre Pressure Monitoring, Hill Descent Control, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and auto hold.
