Infinix Note 12 Pro launched with Dimensity 810

Infinix recently launched Note 12 5G and Note 12 Pro 5G in India. These two phones are very similar except for the varied camera and memory configurations.

Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G Overview:

Design and Display

It retains the boxy design as the rest of the Note 12 lineup. The back of the phone has an AG matte finish and a rectangular camera module with a glossy stripe running edge-to-edge of the device. It is available in two color options i.e Force Black and Snowfall White.

Infinix has chosen a U-shaped notch on the front. The display also features a peak brightness of 700 nits and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for further protection against drops and scratches.

In addition, it has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a DCI-P3 color gamut. Sadly, there is no support for higher refresh rates here, although it does come with a 180Hz touch sampling rate.

Performance

It is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset with an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It also has a microSD card slot for storage extension of up to 2TB. It uses Infinix’s XOS 10.6 based on Android 12.

Camera

Note 12 Pro 5G has a triple camera arrangement, led by a 108MP main sensor. This is complemented by two 2MP depth and macro sensors. There is a 16MP sensor for selfies.

Extra Details

Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G has a 5000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. It features dual speaker setup for audio and supports 12 5G bands. It utilizes USB Type-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Bluetooth 5.1.

Note 12 has the same display, chipset, and battery configuration as the Pro model. However, the rear camera is 50MP primary lens, 2MP depth sensor and AI lens. Also, it has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, Infinix has only provided 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage for the Note 12 5G.

Availability and Price in Nepal

In India, the vanilla Note 12 5G is priced INR 14,499 for its sole 6/128GB variant and the Note 12 Pro 5G rated INR 17,999 for the 8/256GB model. Thus, we expect the price of Infinix Note 12 5G and Note 12 Pro 5G to cost NPR 28,000 and NPR 33,000 respectively in Nepal.
