Features and Specs of Recently Launched New Citroen C3 SUV

The subcompact SUV New Citroen C3 is officially launched. However, the company officially terms it a ‘hatchback with a twist’.

Also, authorized distributor of Citroen vehicles in Nepal, Shangrila Motors, is set to launch its second SUV in the Nepalese market in days further. The pre-bookings too is said to open in Nepal very soon.

Citroen C3 has two variants namely Live and Feel. The company has said that it will deliver the new C3 will shortly and additionally across all Citroen showrooms in Nepal. It is built on the company’s C-Cubed platform and has completely new design along with modern features.

It is powered by two 1.2-liter Puretech petrol engines where the first one features 1.2-liter naturally-aspirated petrol motor that generates 81 bhp and 115 Nm while mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Then, there is the 1.2-liter, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that generates 108 bhp and 190 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. As for fuel efficiency, the 1.2-liter naturally-aspirated petrol motor offers 19.8 kmpl. Meanwhile, the turbo petrol option offers 19.4 kmpl.

It has a matte-black front grille, glossy-black ORVMs, halogen headlamps, roof antenna, 15-inch steel wheels, fender-mounted turn indicators and dual-tone shade as optional.

C3 features a digital instrument cluster, steering-mounted controls, and three USB sockets. In addition, it has a stick-out infotainment display with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 4 speakers, a 12V socket, and a smartphone clamp.

For safety, the Citroen C3 has dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors. It has four colour options: Silver, Orange, White and Black. It is also available in six different Dual-Tone color options.

As for the pricing, Citroen C3 is expected to be around NRs. 50 Lakhs.
