MG Astor SUV to Debut at NADA Auto Show 2022

The MG Astor, SUV is going to debut at NADA Auto Show. MG Astor is set to launch this 5-seater SUV very soon.

The authorized distributor of MG vehicles in Nepal, Paramount Motors has confirmed about the MG Astor’s appearance in Nepal at the 2022 NADA Auto Show.

MG Astor is compact SUV with a quality design, safety and performance. Astor is offered in four trims including Super, Style, Smart and Sharp where each gets an EX variant that cuts out on a few safety features.

The new SUV has two petrol engine options: a 1.3-liter turbocharged unit that generates a maximum power of 138 bhp and 220 Nm of torque paired with a 6-speed automatic and a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated mill that generates a maximum power of 110 bhp and 144 Nm paired with 6-speed manual and CVT options.

MacPherson Strut handles the suspension duties at the front and Torsion Beam at the rear. It features LED headlamps, LED DRLs, fog lights with cornering function, a new grille, 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, LED tail lights, a shark-fin antenna, 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, panoramic sunroof, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a seven-inch fully-digital instrument cluster, and a 360-degree camera.

It also has the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) which includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane-keeping/departure assist, high-beam assist, and blind spot detection.

Furthermore, it is available in five colors including Aurora Silver, Glaze Red, Spiced Orange, Candy White, and Starry Black.

The price of MG Astor in Nepal is expected to be around NRs. 50 – NRs.70 Lakhs. It will run the rivalry against Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti compact SUV, and Nissan Kicks, and Maruti Suzuki S-Cross.
