Oppo released new variant of Oppo A16k in Nepal. The 4GB RAM variant with 64GB storage was only available when the phone debuted in Nepal in April 2022. But now, a 3GB variant is also available.
Likewise, Oppo A16k is similar to the Oppo A16 that was launched last year but has some downgrades.

Oppo A16k Overview
Design
It is has a plastic back with a matte finish with a square camera island made to look like a dual-camera setup. It has two color options: Midnight Black and Blue color. The device is 7.85mm thick and weighs 175g which is fairly thin and light.
Furthermore, Oppo claims the device is IPX4 rated for protection against water splashes. On the right side, there are power and volume buttons. A16k features a micro-USB port on the bottom along with a speaker, a mic and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Display
It has a typical brightness of 480 nits. It comes with a 6.52-inch HD+ (720 x 1600 px) IPS LCD display. The display has a waterdrop notch and large chin.
Hardware
It is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 chipset powers which has an octa-core Arm Cortex-A53 CPU cores (4x 2.3GHz & 4x 1.8GHz) and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The chipset is paired with 3/4GB RAM and 32/64GB storage.
Camera
Oppo A16k has a single 13MP rear camera. It has a 5MP selfie camera on the front. The A16 had an 8MP front camera. In addition, it can shoot 1080p video at 30fps.
Battery and OS
It has 4230mAh battery and is operated by ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11.

Oppo A16k is available for purchase at Oppo authorized stores across Nepal.
The 4GB variant was priced at Rs. 19,990 but initially in June, the company dropped the price by Rs. 2,000. The Oppo A16k price in Nepal is Rs. 15,990 for the 3GB + 32GB variant and Rs. 17,990 for the 4GB + 64GB variant.
