Honor X9 with SD 680 Launched in Nepal

Celltron Nepal has launched the third X-series phone Honor X9 along with the Honor X7 and Honor X8 on June 22, 2022. All these phones are powered by the same Snapdragon 680 chipset.

The Honor X9 is the most expensive one among them. There is Honor X9 5G variant too but it is not yet available in Nepal.

Honor X9 Overview

Design

Honor X9 has a huge circular camera design on the back along with the Honor branding. It too is available with three colors- Ocean Blue, Midnight Black, and Titanium Silver just like Honor X7 and X8.

The phone comes with volume button and power button on the right side. The power button doubles as a fingerprint scanner. On the bottom, there’s a SIM card slot, a microphone, a USB-C port and a speaker. Furthermore, on the top side near the display is an earpiece.

Display

The smartphone features a large 6.81-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with up to a 90Hz refresh rate. Also, the display has a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The top and side bezels are minimal while the chin is bigger just like its slibling models’. The company claims that it has a screen-to-body ratio of 94%.

Hardware

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset is available which is based on a 6nm process node. The chipset has four “big” Kryo 265 Gold (Arm Cortex-A73) cores running at up to 2.4GHz and four “LITTLE” Kryo 265 Silver cores (Arm Cortex-A53) cores running at up to 1.9GHz. Likewise, the device contains 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Camera

The selfie camera is 16MP with an f/2.5 aperture lens with capacity of shooting 1080p video at up to 30fps.

Alongside, circular bump on the back houses four cameras viz. a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera.

Battery and OS

The phone is fueled by 4800mAh with 66W fast charging. According to Honor, it can charge the phone from 0% to 81% within 30 minutes. The Honor X9 runs on Magic UI 4.2 based on Android 11.
