BYD Atto 3 Price In Nepal

A brand new variant of the BYD Atto 3 is now officially available in Nepal.Cimex, the authorized distributor of BYD vehicles in Nepal, has added a new variant of the BYD Atto 3. There was a lot of hype surrounding the initial launch of Atto 3. However, the hype came to a sudden halt as new tax policies made jumped the price of the 150kW variant by almost 25 Lakhs! Interestingly, BYD Nepal adopted a new strategy to ensure its survival.

The company had to introduce a newer 100kW variant at a more affordable price. Moreover, it came with the same quirks and features as the extended 150kW variant, but with a slightly reduced range and price. Unfortunately, history repeated itself with the new Budget 23/24.

BYD Atto 3 Overview

Design

BYD Atto 3 sports a “Dragon Face 3.0” design.It mixes well with traditional SUV styling matched with modern aesthetics.The front section comes with slimmer LED headlamps. It gets a touch of premium undertone with its satin garnish.Following the latest EV trend, it has a sloping hood for improved aerodynamics. Moreover, it hosts an aggressively styled bumper with muscular air intakes.

The side profile is relatively simpler. It has traditional lines and creases.However, the side profile stands out thanks to the chromed window border, textured C-pillar, and stylish alloy wheels.The rear section includes an all-new LED Tail Lamp, covering the full width.Similarly, the rear profile also gets a stylish muscular bumper. Like the modern EVs, the interior gets a futuristic styling.Additionally, the BYD Atto 3 comes in four different colors: Grey, Red, White, and Blue.

Performance

BYD Atto 3 comes in two Motor configurations: 100kW and 150kW.The Advanced and Superior variant is powered by a 100kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), generating a max power of 135 PS and a max torque of 310Nm. Whereas, the Performance variant is powered by a 150kW PMSM, generating a max power of 204 PS and a max torque of 310Nm.

Interestingly, there is a slight difference in battery capacity as well.Atto 3 is based on BYD e-Platform 3.0.

Additional Details

McPherson Strut and Multi-link handle the suspension duties.The dimensions are 4455mm in length, 1875mm in width, and 1615mm in height. Moreover, the wheelbase is 2720mm.
