
Syakar Trading Pvt. Ltd. the sole distributor for Honda motorcycles and scooters in the Nepali market is soon launching the Honda Hornet 2.0 officially in the Nepali market. Honda’s other machines such as XBlade, Unicorn, CB Hornet haven’t been able to acquire good sales in the recent market scenario. However, the upcoming Honda Hornet 2.0 is expected to fill the void.
Currently, the motorcycle is in the testing phase while it will officially make its debut in few days. Let’s have a quick overview of the machine.
Honda Hornet 2.0 Overview
Design
The Hornet 2.0 is a light frugal machine coming from the Honda stable. Design-wise, the makers have made it more color-rich compared to the ongoing CB Hornet model. The Gloden USD fork infused in the bike gives a premium touch to it.
Moreover, this one gets a redesigned fuel tank emitting a muscular look to it. Similarly, on the rear too, the bike gets new split seats with a higher stance. Overall, due to dual-tone colors used complemented by fresh sports graphics, the Hornet 2.0 looks like a completely different machine.
Power and Performance
The Honda Hornet 2.0 is powered by a 184.4cc, 4-stroke, Air-Cooled Fi engine that delivers a peak power of 17.26PS at 8500rpm along with a peak torque of 16.1Nm at 6000rpm. The bike’s engine is mated with a 5-speed gearbox.
Suspension and Braking
The suspension works are handled by a new Golden Colored USD upside-down forks up front along with a mono-shock unit at the rear.
Honda has given dual-disc brakes on the motorcycle while the Hornet 2.0 also comes with a Single-Channel ABS feature as standard.
