The new motorbike Royal Enfield Hunter 350 from Royal Enfield Automaker company is expected to launch in Nepal in August 2022. The company claims that it is to become the most affordable Royal Enfield bike in Nepal after launch.
Hunter 350 will come with sleek design and compact dimensions. It is a retro classic motorcycle which is be the third bike from Royal Enfield that with J-platform engine. The bike is will have the same engine, frame and cycle parts as the next-generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. According to the company, the new bike is pretty comfortable for both city runabouts and highway rides.
Furthermore, it is powered by a 349cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces the same peak power output, at 20.2hp, and torque is the same at 27Nm. It is linked to a five-speed gearbox. The braking system comes with a twin-piston 300 mm front and single-piston 270 mm rear disc brakes governed by Dual-channel ABS.
The Hunter 350 will adopt 17-inch alloy wheels. It also features a telescopic front fork and rear dual shock absorbers. It also features easy-to-reach handlebars and a slightly rear-biased footpeg. The motorcycle comes with a low seat height and carries a kerb weight of around 190-195kg. It will feature single-piece seat, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a round shape for the headlamp, a tail lamp, turn signals, and mirrors. It is also expected to come with a semi-digital instrument cluster with a tripper turn-by-turn navigation system.
Price and Rivalry
Royal Enfield Hunter 350’s pricetag in Nepal is expected around NRs. 5 – 6 lakhs. It will rival against Honda H’ness CB350, Honda CB350RS, Jawa Forty Two and the upcoming Triumph-Bajaj motorcycle. The launch date isn’t announced yet while the bookings might open few days early from launch.
