The recently unveiled Aprilia SR Max 250 maxi-scooter in China has sporty design with edgy body panels. It is also named SR Max 250 HPE or the High-Performance Edition compared to the standard model sold in Nepal. It has more aggressive bodywork and a large windscreen compared to the standard model. Italian two-wheeler manufacturer will launch the Aprilia SR Max 250 in few days.

Also, the report has confirmed that Piaggio is also set to launch the new maxi-scooter SR Max 250 in Nepal in few days. Piaggio sells different models of Vespa and Aprilia scooters in Nepal.

Aprilia SR Max 250 HPE comes with a dual-channel ABS including the 260 mm front and 240 mm rear disc setup while the suspension is handled by telescopic forks up front and a pair of gas-charged shocks for the rear. It is powered by a 244cc, liquid-cooled engine that generates a maximum power of 25.8bhp and torque of  22.5 Nm. It It has two riding modes Eco and Sport. The scooter too features a traction control system as standard.

SR Max 250 HPE features ASR (Anti-Slip Regulation) that detects rear wheel slips and adjust engine output. Furthermore, it is packed with a seven-inch TFT instrument cluster and has range of information such as temperature, average speed, maximum speed, and fuel consumption.

It features massive under-seat storage space. The scooter has a wide, pulled-back handlebar and comfy seats with thick foam padding and the Rider seat section comes with raised back support for extra comfort. The scooter also features a more aggressive bodywork and a large windscreen. It is equipped with Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone pairing.

It comes with the new grey-red color theme. It has the price tag equivalent to Rs 5.03 lakhs.
