Benelli has announced to launch the BS6 compliant version of the Imperiale 400 in Nepal in few months. It is a modern-classic cruiser motorcycle. The company has confirmed to first showcase in Nepal at the 2022 NADA Auto Show.
The Italian manufacturer had launched the BS6 iteration of the bike in July last year. The Benelli Imperiale 400 will be the brand’s first BS6-compliant offering in the country.
Benelli Imperiale 400 engine comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. It is powered by a 374cc BS6 engine that generates a maximum power of 20.7 bhp and a torque of 29 Nm. These performance numbers are higher as compared to its previous BS4 model.
Imperiale 400 comes with disc brakes at either end and dual-channel ABS. It features with a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and dual shock absorbers at the rear. It comes with a round headlamp with a chrome casing flanked by round, chrome-finished turn indicators. It also gets more chrome on the tail lamp, mirrors, levers, and spoke wheels.
The bike is equipped with a twin-pod instrument cluster with chrome bezels that give it a retro look. Its twin-pod analog-digital instrument console gets a neat digital fuel gauge positioned smack in between the two consoles. The console also features a gear position indicator. It has three color options including red, black and silver. B
The price of the bike in Nepal is expected to be around NRs. 8 Lakhs to NRs. 10 Lakhs. It comes with a 3 years/unlimited km warranty as standard.
