The WWDC event was a major event for developers and service-related announcements which had introduced two Apple new MacBooks. Besides, the model 13-inch MacBook Pro is now open for pre-order in Nepal.

Design and Display
The design and hardware features are similar to its older sibling. It has 13.3-inch Retina IPS display with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution whereas the screen supports True Tone and P3 color gamut. In addition, it retains Touch Bar on the top of the keyboard as well which is a unique feature among the Mac Apple line-up.
Performance
It is powered by the new M2 chip which is an octa-core processor with 4-high performance cores and 4-high efficiency cores. It is built upon the company’s 2nd gen 5nm process. The new silicon has 20 billion transistors and a 10-core GPU.
The company claims that it boosts the CPU performance by 18 percent and improves the GPU and Neural Engine by 35 percent and 40 percent respectively. Moreover, M2 has up to 24GB of unified memory.
Apple claims that the M2 outperforms the 10-core Intel Core i7-1255U CPU combined with 16GB of memory by 1.9X. Similarly, its media engine now supports up to 8K H.264, HEVC, ProRes encode/decode and has ‘increased bandwidth’ to playback multiple 4K and 8K streams more efficiently. M2 has 50 percent greater memory bandwidth than M1.
Extra Details
Connectivity option is the same as well with a pair of USB 4 / Thunderbolt 3 ports, a headphone jack, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0. The MacBook only supports a single display with up to a 6K resolution at a 60Hz refresh rate if in case we want to connect it to an external display.
