Starting with the design, Galaxy M04 has two camera rings on the back—one of which is a 13MP primary lens and the other is a 2MP macro sensor. The back panel is available in black and green shades with a plain matte finish and curved edges.

Upfront, there is a 6.5-inch screen with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. Here, you get a U-shaped notch that houses the 5MP selfie camera. Because there is no option for fingerprint unlock, you can use the front camera for face unlock.

Performance

Furthermore, Galaxy M04 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 processor. It’s a 12nm mobile SoC with eight Cortex-A53 cores, four of which run at 2.3GHz and the other half at 1.8GHz. Accompanying this is 4GB of RAM. But Samsung has been heavily advertising the Galaxy M04 with 8GB memory.

It is actually due to the RAM Plus (Virtual RAM) feature, which allows you to add 4GB of memory from the storage. Speaking of which, it has 128GB storage which is expandable via a microSD card.

Sadly, although Android 13 has been available for some time, it arrives with Android 12. But the good thing is, Samsung has promised two years of software updates for the Galaxy M04.
