Yamaha Motor has officially launched Fascino 125 FI in Nepal. Yamaha has also confirmed that the new Fascino 125 FI has come with 30% more power and 16 percent better fuel economy comparatively to the previous model. The company claims that the fuel economy is 66 Kmpl in the new scooter.
According to the authorized distributor of Yamaha scooters in Nepal, MAW Enterprise, the scooter that is entering the Nepalese market is the most affordable FI offerings in Yamaha’s scooter series.
Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi retains the retro and curvy design of its older sibling. It features a Smart Motor Generator (SMG), a newly designed headlamp with Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) and an LED Tail light.
For the performance, it has a brand new Blue Core 125 cc single cylinder fuel injected BS6 engine which generates power of 8.04 bhp and a maximum torque of 10.3 Nm. It comes up with a combined braking system or unified braking system for both wheels including front disc and rear drum brakes. The fuel tank capacity of 5.2 liters and there are 12-inch alloy wheels.
In addition, the scooter also makes use of a new lightweight frame while weighing only 99 Kg. It has a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster. The scooters also get a start-stop system along with traffic modes for easing crawling in congested city traffic. It has a side-stand cut-off switch in addition to a foldable hook, multifunction key and USB charging among many other features. Also, the new start motor generator ensures a completely silent start for maximum ease and convenience.
Furthermore, It is offered in two variants- Drum and DiscYamaha Fascino. It has 12 colour options: Dark Matt Blue, Black, Cyan Blue, Matt Blue, Cyan Blue, Black, Matt Blue, Suave Copper, Red, Yellow, Suave Copper and Dark Matt Blue.

Yamaha Fascino 125 FI prices NRs. 2.67 Lakhs in Nepal. The new scooter is now available at the nearest Yamaha Showroom across the country and even bookings are open online where interested individuals can book from the company’s official website.
It is said to rival against Honda Dio, TVS Jupiter, Honda Activa, Vespa VXL 125, TVS Ntorq 125 and Suzuki Access 125.
